I am an editor/proofreader and translator, working with English-Hindi-Gujarati languages. While gaining experience as a Chartered Accountant, I was pulled by my passion for reading and writing. Combining my linguistic talents with my profession was a dream come true when I embarked on a long-term assignment with a prestigious publishing house. My role involved researching and creating captivating books on professional topics, meticulously editing, proofreading, and even crafting a few self-help gems. After that, I was associated with The Children’s Post of India, for around 2.5 years, and undertook the responsibilities of a reviewer, translator and even as edition designer for the newsletter. Thereafter, developmental editing of a mesmerizing memoir, curating captivating content for the website of a professional firm, and editing a collection of short stories while seamlessly balancing multiple blog editing projects kept me delightfully occupied. And to enhance my expertise in publishing, I completed a prestigious course offered by the National Book Trust, India. Besides that, I have also worked as an editor and content manager for various blog niches. These assignments gave me hands-on experience working with WordPress and understanding the basics of SEO.
